Pass
To fold

Passive
Type of play that is characterized by reluctance to raise or bet..

Pay Off
To call a bet where the bettor is representing a hand that you can't beat, but the pot is sufficiently large to justify a call anyway.

Pineapple
Any variation of Texas Hold'em where players are dealt three hole cards and must discard one.

Play Back
To raise someone's opening bet..

Play the Board
To show down a hand in Texas Hold'em when your cards don't make a hand any better than is shown on the board. If a player plays the board, the best he can do is to split the pot with all remaining players..

Pocket
Cards that are unique to each player that only that player can see.

Position
A players seat in respect to the dealer. Position is an important factor in a game like Texas Hold'em.

Post
To put a blind bet, usually at the start of the poker game.

Pot
The money or chips in the middle of the table..  

Pot Limit
A type of poker game in which a player may bet up to the total amount of money in the pot.

Pot Odds
The amount of money in the pot compared to the amount a player must put in the pot to continue playing.

Price
The pot odds  player is getting for a draw or call.

Proposition Player
A person paid by the house to play when a poker game is shorthanded or to keep good action at the table.
