Ace High
A five-card hand with an ace, but no pair. It beats a king-high, but loses to any pair or above.

Aces Full
A full house with three aces and any pair.

Aces Up
Two pairs,.one pair being aces.

Action
The betting. 

Active Player
Any player who is in the pot.

Add-on
The opportunity to buy additional chips in some tournaments.

Advertise
To make a bluff with the purpose of being exposed as a loose player.

All Blue
A flush with either clubs or spades.

All-In
When a player bets all his or her remaining chips in front of him or her.

All Pink
A flush with either hearts or diamonds.

Ante
A small portion of bet required by each one of the players at the beginning of a poker hand.
